Fleetwood Mac - Hypnotized

When everyone else thinks of Fleetwood Mac, they think of Rumors. No objection here. Rumors is fine, and so is the rest of the material Fleetwood Mac recorded after Linsdey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks joined the band in 1975 or so. But this song was from a different Fleetwood Mac, when Bob Welch was in the band. If you lived through the 1970s, you'll understand when I say this song captures what it felt like to be alive during that time. I was just a dumb kid in 1973-74, it it seemed a dark time, when the world was falling apart. Lousy fashions, air pollution, an oil embargo, and the President had just stepped down in disgrace.

I could listen to this song for hours on end. It does not sound like the Fleetwood Mac that we know and love, because the singer was Bob Welch, who left the band shortly after this album came out. Nothing Fleetwood Mac did after this song comes close to Hypnotized.
